PROJECT 06:STREET ART

Growing up in Queens, NY I found myself surrounded by colored walls of intentionally placed marks and streets filled with carelessly discarded objects. This aesthetic became a source of inspiration that has followed me to thought the years and maintains a primary impact on what shapes my creative process every day.

I began documenting these environments as a way to archive the imprint they have on the community. This growing series brings works of art from across the United States together to create a unified metamorphosis of street art. Once worn away they will never exist the same way again. Now, these offbeat iconic monuments can live on and be shared with the world long after they have come and gone.

This is an ongoing photography project that originated as a way to document street art, found live in the community.

Copyright of graffiti and street art itself are the rights of the artists. Artists often unknown.
